HeartShe stands tall, but her eyes show she is sad as she grabs a knife, She closes her eyes, murmuring a name softly then cuts into her chest, Crimson mixes with falling drops as she drags the knife over her heart’s resting place, She sniffles softly then cuts into her chest again, on the other end of where her heart will be, She bites down on her lip to prevent herself from crying out as steel smoothly cuts past her paling flesh, Opening her eyes to stare and pant at her reflection in the mirror, she drops her knife, A moment later, she plunges her hand into her chest, grabbing for her heart but… &nbHeart

The RainStaring out at the green trees, I can see the leaves quiver in fright, The wind howls, buffeting the rain towards me, I close my eyes, letting the cold water run over me, Squirrels softly chatter, calming their young, They speak of when the sun will rise from behind the shadows of the dark clouds, My mind calms and clears of all senses except feeling the rain, The trees sway in the wind, as if dancing silently, The rain keeps coming though and as it washes away all my fears and doubts, I feel the cold rain soak me, I spread my arms out, embracing it, After a few moments of simply beiThe Rain
